When starting out, most of the burrow checker issues can be handled with initial use of clone. This comes at a cost of performance and memory use. Even then it's still generally really fast and you can get stuff done.

Should you still learn how to use references, Rc/Arc, channels and the like? If course, and it should get easier. Read more, write more.

That said, entropy counts when trying to get something done quickly and the familiar is often a better option for other reasons.

This rant/article just feels like it's not really backed up with reason so much as feeling.
